Sandy, Boring and Damascus are located east of Portland and serve as the gateway to Mt. Hood and the skiing, snowboarding, and hiking that surround it. While driving through all 3 towns you will have fantastic Mt. Hood views and from Sandy, you will also get views of the beautiful Sandy River Valley. Sandy also plays host to an annual Sandy Mountain Festival, Oktoberfest, and a yearly Holiday Festival with a parade.
